Welcome!
The primary purpose of this blog is to encourage the increased use of innovative advancements in technology in educational institutions. A secondary goal is to reduce the use of paper as a teaching tool. The world is moving more and more toward paperless communication, analysis, and storage. Students, too, are communicating more and more with computers (e-mail, AIM, file attachments, internet-based research), cell phones, and other forms of technology.
I will be recording some of the thoughts I have about my own paperless classroom as well as storing samples of some of the assignments, projects, and forms of technology that have worked well for me.
Please feel free to comment on posts as well as post your own best practices. The goal is to share information among educators in order to promote the creative and successful integration of technology in the classroom.
